Accessibility statement
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This site aims to be usable by as many people as possible. It is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you should be able to do
- Use the whole site with a keyboard, including a “Skip to main content” link.
- Use a screen reader: pages have clear headings, labels and landmarks.
- Zoom text up to 200% and read the site on a narrow phone screen without scrolling sideways.
- Use the Display menu at the top of every page to choose a light or dark theme, reduce motion, or make the text larger. By default the site follows your device’s settings.
- Turn off animation either in the Display menu or by setting “reduce motion” on your device. Animated pictures then stay still, and nothing on the site depends on animation.
Colour is never the only way information is shown, and all text meets AA contrast in both themes.
How it is tested
Every change is checked with automated accessibility tests (axe) in both themes, at phone and desktop sizes, and by hand with a keyboard before it goes live.
